Cam Neely Makes the Hall UPDATED!!
He was THE premier power forward in the NHL during his career which was cut short by what I'd call the cheapest of shots by Ulf Sammuelsson in the early 90's. A fact that killed the Bruins and eventually led to the trading of one Ray Bourque to another team so he could win a championship. Cam was the quintessential Bruin. Could hit like a train wreck, fast on his skates, and could dance around the most skilled of defenders. My favorite Cam moment was when he dragged a turtled Claude Lemieux from the center ice to the corner boards in order to smash Claude's head into the boards. Pure Neely. Pure Bruin.
Along with the link in the title here's the first article about Cam Neely. And here's Kevin Paul Dupont's column.

Super stoked over here for #8!
Cam and Ray, 2 of my favorite old school Bruins, but I can't help saying that I'm partial to Sweeney since he was born just miles away from me in St. Stephen, NB.
