Wimbledon is the bomb. I remember growing up watching matches. I loved tennis, but Wimbledon was always the coolest. Summertime, watching the grass get worn away, Johnny Mac, Jimmy Connors… that was the shit.
This morning as Stuart Scott was leading in SportCenter's coverage I wondered, "Did Stuart Scott ever watch Wimbledon as a kid?" Wimbledon is so old school, does anyone on ESPN remember watching back in the day?
