Gotta Love The Ortizzle

Edgar Renteria pulls off an insane two out bunt (probably the play of the game) which allows David Ortiz to provide the dramatics with a bomb to center field. Could this be our "Tek vs. A-Rod" season turning game of 2005?

College Reunion Weekend

This weekend is my 10 year reuninon for my first college, Stonehill. Now before you get all excited about hearing about all the little outings that come with a reunion let me tell you, I'M NOT GOING!! Some may ask why. Some may ask why not. Some may even ask what else are you going to do this weekend. Well simply because the people that I'd want to see and care about seeing are not going. It's a weird thing when you realize that due to marriage, babies, and distance most people won't even be there this weekend. Meanwhile the fun single folk, like myself, make alternate plans. Which I would like to thank Melissa Y. for organizing and giving me a space to crash this weekend. Like going out to Faneul Hall in Boston for dinner and cocktails on Saturday night. Get to see the people I care about and enjoyed hanging with at Stonehill. Catch up. And relive experiences at the Hill without reverting back to our young student selves. And the ability to avoid the many inane conversations that you can get cornered into at reunions. Bartender. Refill....

The New LewisG Jeep

New Grand Cherokee

I present to you my new 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited. A sweet ride to say the least especially if you've had the priviledge of going for a ride in the old Jeep. That Jeep more represented an easy way to get your neck realigned by running over pot holes in town. This one is much smoother. And my first automatic transmission which I can't believe I didn't have before. Much more relaxing. Or it could be the leather and the sound system. More pictures if you click on the photo!

DMV Adventures

I'm psyched. Exuberant. Elated. A new vehicle will do that for you. Learning the new dials and inner workings. Then all that disappears as I sit and stare at the waiting line at the DMV and the tax department at city hall. The overall glazed over look in people's eyes at the DMV. I haven't seen that much glaze since my last Phish show during one of their "we've gone too long" jams. I should be able to read something fairly long and involved by the time I have my new vehicle registered. Or read my owners manual twice. But I'll know how to adjust my leather seats. MMMM...Leather..
