QE-IPod

Gotta make you wonder what is on the Queen's IPod? I'm suggesting the Queen collection. Or is that too obvious? Comment below on her set list...

Who's Your Father's Day ?

The day to celebrate the man who brought you into this wonderfully chaotic world. Dad. For me it's a time to thank my grandfather for taking me and my mom into his house before I was born and for becoming my guardian when my mom passed away in 1986. He passed away in the fall of 2001 but had a profound influence on my life. Probably the reason why I have the ingrained chivalrous attitude. I am also proud to be named after him. He was: a husband, boxer, engineer, gardener, fireman, Town of Milton Fire Chief, friend, woodworker, grandfather, and many other things. He hated driving and actually the last time he drove was to make sure that the Sunday paper delivery I had was finished. (Damn you to hell Boston Sunday Globe!!) He got me through my math classes, high school and pushed my to be the best I could in everything I did. So Happy Father's Day to my grandfather, Lewis C. Lyons. Thanks for making me into something you'd be proud of. Remember to either call or visit dad this weekend!!

PacMan

Now to completely date myself, I am celebrating the 25th birthday of Pac-Man. That loveable yellow chomping game character. I can still remember seeing my first game of Pac-Man and yes it was in the local Papa Gino's. The lights. The redundant sounds. It had it all. Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde. The cool warp doors on the side. The mini act plays. The fruit.
And let's not forget the merchandising that went along with it. I even had the Pac Man watch that had a drawer with a little joystick to insert to play. Ah the joys of 1 bit technology. Namco, the blessed inventors of the classic game, have tried to get more 3D with Pac Man. But don't bother. Nothing beats the origional, sit down version with your friends over a piece of pie and a coke. And if you spilled. It was an automatic forfeit. Ah the glory days.

I Can't Believe The News Today (UPDATED 4:30PM)

I was going to start something on here about the weekend but that will have to wait until later. For now I'm going to discuss Jessica Alba. And all your ears start to perk up. Well it could be about any starlet that "accidentally" let her breasts be exposed either through a sheer gown on the walkway or just having them fall out. Now I'm a guy so the thought of these incredibly beautiful women having their wardrobe malfunction in front of 500 papparazi is surely appealing to me. My issue is with the sudden news interest in such occurrences. I heard about the MTV Music Awards show red carpet with Alba's beautiful chest fully on display for us all about two hours after the show started. Now MSNBC finally decides to pick it up in their gossip column. Don't we have more serious things to worry about like the Guantanamo Bay Prison issues or the Michael Jackson Trial to wrap our ears and minds around? How about Iraq? I'm sure they'd love to have Alba's breasts over there.... Instead our media is fixated on over-rated actresses or heiresses doing things that their handlers thought would be a good idea. In today's internet driven world, these types of pictures/stories are instantly broadcast all over the world. Just wait for the next awards show and examine those non-airbrushed shots to see if you can see nipple.....

***UPDATE!!*** They have a verdict in the Michael Jackson case. Not only can you hear the jury tell Michael that he's a pedophile but on all the news stations you can watch the gripping live video of his black Explorer crew driving to the court house. He may pull an OJ Simpson....
