Maybe He Does Know Best

I admit it freely. I am presently sucked into this VH1 show called Hogan Knows Best. Yes it stars the Wayne Gretzky of Wrestling Entertainment. Yeah it's all staged stuff but I remember the Hulster era of the WWF. He was just money. Now he's doing a reality show about his life and his family. And I have to say he's a great dad. I mean it probably isn't bad to be the kid of a world famous entertainer. He's good to his wife. And not only that but the cameo's in the show are outrageous. Mean Gene Oakerland. Seargant Slaughter. Rowdy Roddy Piper. Only one missing was George "The Animal" Steele....

I thought he was bluffing....

Hell when the third ace showed up on foruth street figured he had nada. Nothing. Funji. But alas he had the fourth ace. I haven't seen four aces in a poker match in a looooong time. So I figured it was equal to getting a 29 hand in cribbage. Either way. I'm out two more bucks.....

Westbrook Wins! Heads to Little League World Series

With everything going on with Major League Baseball with steroids and outfielders diving head first into each other it is nice to see that the Westbrook Little League team won the regional finals against Rhode Island, 7-2. I love the LLWS for the pureness of the game and probably reminiscing about being that young and playing baseball in all those little fields around Milton. Maybe I'll coach a team in Milton eventually. But back to the Westbrook team. They will be playing in the LLWS starting August 23rd in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Don't know who they will play but just making it this far is a great accomplishment. Go Westbrook!!!
