When your looking for a new job there are too many factors to deal with. Location, requirements of the job, advancement opportunities, blah blah blah. Sometimes you leave where you are now to go somewhere else. The fear is you leave and then a few months later you realize that you shoulda stayed. Or if you don't leave you realize you should have. What a fun thing to have to worry about. But it may be time to eject from Portland.

2004 ends....2005 begins!

And thank god for that. Sometimes so many things happen in one year that you can't wait for January 1st to show up. Deaths, breakups, and professional issues. There are good things that happened in 2004. Graduation. A great relationship. Travel. But the bad always outways the good sometimes. Or more importantly it reminds you of your great screw ups and miscalculations. How it may be best to hit rock bottom in order to bring yourself back up again.
