U-Haul....U-Pack....U-Deal with it all

Got the 17 foot truck lined up for September 1st. Hoping that everything that is going will fit into the truck and the Jeep to make it one quick trip (followed by the pet pick up that night).

There should be a moving company that takes care of all these little headaches. Packing things up. Shredding documents. Large trash for the dump removal. Putting all of the boxes and furniature in the vehicle. Driving it down there. Moving it in. It would definitely keep my head clearer and less stressed out that it will all be taken care of. This way I could focus on the fun things of moving in. Like wall color. IKEA runs. HD television sets. House warming parties.

Portland People.....Moving Sale!!

For those of you in the Portland area or if you are reading this and planning on venturing up to Maine. This Saturday from 9 - 3 at the palacial Congress Street estates at 1007 Congress Street I will be having a moving sale. Tableware. Glassware. Dishware. Books. Games. Everything but the kitchen sink, my pets, or my personal collection of fine watches. Things tend to go quickly so be there early. Basically so I can be done and at the beach earlier to relax.

Candid Kenny

Who do you think would win in a cage match, Kenny Rodgers or the cameraman he assaulted? I'm voting for Rodgers. He just looks like he fights cattle like Nolan Ryan would. But on the flip side I think the cameraman would have a bit of an edge. When you're carrying a full 60 pound camera on your shoulder for a number of years I believe you know how to wield that thing. Swing it around your head via the cables. Ability to eject tape and use it as a throwing weapon. Yeah he probably has skills. Something like Napoleon Dynamite. Skills. Without the llama...

Why this rant? Well if you are going to the game tonight at Fenway Kenny is pitching. According to the arbitrator ruling that Selig went too far with the suspension. I think he didn't go far enough. I hope Rodgers get sued, booed, and tattooed tonight. He ranks up there with "Unintentionally" Rafael Palmeiro and "I can't believe he wrote a full sentence" Jose Canseco as the largest A-holes of the year.

The Coldplay show on Saturday (opening video wall shot to the left...) was great. They are definitely giving it a go as a great live act and shooting for the next big band after U2. Cool idea with some baloons with confetti in them during one song. Also Chris Martin running a lap around the ampitheater to get a good run in.

Only disappointment was the hour and a half dead standstill in the parking lot following the show. I really wish they would figure that out in the Tweeter Center.
